Baseball captured their 16th Regional Championship on Friday, June 6th by defeating Vandalia Butler 10-1 at Miami University. This marks the 4th trip to state in 5 years for the baseball program. The Rams will play against Licking Valley on Friday at 10am at Canal Park in Akron, Oh. If they win they will then play the winner of University School (Cleveland) and Wapakoneta on Saturday at 1pm for the State Championship.
The Rams will be the away team in the state Semi Finals (first base side). Should they win they will be the home team in the State Championship game.
Know Before You Go
Tickets- Tickets are ONLINE ONLY- there is no cash option. If you purchase tickets at the gate, they will still be done online. Adult tickets are $15, students are $10. Children 5 and younger are free. Tickets are good for the entire day. Purchase tickets HERE
Parking- Downtown Akron provides ample parking in several surface lots and parking decks surrounding the ballpark. There are also metered parking spaces in the area that are free after 6:00 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. View the Parking Map
Gates will open at 9:00 AM each day of the State Tournament. Spectators shall enter Canal Park at the main gates located along Main Street.lot. It is preferred that spectators have their ticket purchased in advance online. If a spectator shows up without a ticket, they will be asked to step to the side and purchase a ticket online for admission. There will be tournament staff and QR codes available to assist a spectator with purchasing a ticket onsite, but it will save time for all parties if purchased online in advance.
Concessions- Canal Park is cashless! Please plan accordingly
No outside food or drink including water bottles permitted in the stadium
