Congratulations are in order to Sophomore Kendall Ponatoski as she enters the Ohio High School Athletic Association Softball Record Book!
On Saturday, March 21st, Kendall hit her first home run of the game in the 1st inning collecting 2 RBI’s. In the 4th inning she hit another home run collecting 2 more RBI’s. After a rally she came up again in the 4th inning and hit yet another home run- bringing her RBI total on the day to 6. Adding a single to the day her final stat line was 4/4 with 3 home runs, 6 RBI’s, and 1 stolen base.
3 home runs in 1 game puts her in 2nd place among others in the OHSAA Record Book. 2 home runs in one inning puts her tied for first place in the OHSAA Record Book. She is the first Badin Softball player in program history to achieve this accomplishment!
