Badin Rams Shine at GCL Championship Meet
Fenwick High School | May 13, 2025 — The Badin High School Track & Field team delivered an impressive performance at the GCL Championship Meet, hosted at Fenwick High School. With a mix of grit, teamwork, and standout individual efforts, the Rams made their presence felt on the podium throughout the day.
Girls Relay Teams Step Up
The Girls 4x100m and 4x200m relay teams each earned 3rd place finishes, showcasing speed and coordination. The team of Mia Siefert, Catherine Hoeting, Blake Sakach, and Tina Becker displayed determination and chemistry in both events, contributing valuable points for the Rams.
Sprint and Hurdles Excellence
Jordan Crider turned in a stellar performance in the 110m hurdles, securing a 2nd place finish with an aggressive and clean run through the barriers. On the sprint side, Lem Grayson earned 3rd place in the 100m dash, bringing power and explosiveness to the short sprint.
In the Boys 4x200m Relay, the team of Dylan Fleckenstein, Jordan Crider, Grant Voelker, and Max Snellgroveraced to a strong 3rd place finish, further highlighting the depth of Badin’s sprint corps.
Max Snellgrove Breaks Records and Takes Gold
It was a career day for Max Snellgrove, who not only captured 1st place in the 400m dash but also set a new school record in the process. Snellgrove wasn’t done—he returned to the track to take 1st place in the 200m dash, proving himself as one of the top sprinters in the conference.
Field Events Deliver Gold and More
In the field events, the Rams continued to soar. Cale Creech claimed 1st place in the Long Jump and Dylan Fleckenstein finished 3rd.. Fleckenstein also added a 3rd place finish in the High Jump, capping a busy and successful day.
Mason Thomas brought power to the shot put ring, earning a 3rd place finish with consistent throws and strong technique
