Being a Badin Student Athlete is not seasonal, but year round.

What does Badin’s state swim team do over Spring Break?  They swim at the YMCA Short Course National Championships held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center!

Joined by Coach Jenny, Kathleen Burke and Auggy Newberry represented the Powel Crosley Jr YMCA. Kathleen competed in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. While Auggy competed in the 1000 and 1650 freestyle.  They also swam a variety of time trials. Both swimmers saw time drops and qualified to swim at the YMCA Long Course National Championships to be held in Ocala Florida in July.
