Last weekend senior Max Kraemer represented Badin Cross Country at the Regional Meet in Troy on Saturday. Max was the only member of either the boys or girls team to advance to Regionals, which he did by coming in 22nd with a time of 17:23. He said being the only member of the team to qualify, “felt good to represent the school but I would have rather had the whole team running at regionals.”
Max finished 50th in the Division II race with a time of 17:42 to end his Badin Cross Country career. Max, a four year runner, was the top runner for Badin in every meet this season, and ran at Regionals for the fourth consecutive year on Saturday. Max finishes his career as one of the best Badin runners in recent years with a career PR of 17:15. He said his favorite meet in his Badin career was the Centerville Saturday Night Lights meet from his sophomore and junior seasons and his favorite Badin Cross Country memories are all the runs with friends and teammates. With the season now over, Max will look forward to baseball season and Badin Cross Country will certainly miss him next year.
