Austin Buckle is continuing his football and baseball career at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Oh. Austin plays slot receiver in football and second base in baseball. Buckle finished with 45 receptions, 493 yards and 5 touchdowns in his senior football campaign. He currently is hitting at a .429 avg with 21 hits, 19 RBI’s and 11 stolen bases in 19 games this season.
Steven Chen is continuing his tennis career at Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, Ky. Steven has been Badin’s 1st singles all year and in 9 matches at first singles, he has only one loss, in a three set tie-breaker.
Drew Enginger is continuing his football career at Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, Ky. In his senior season Drew had 51 solo tackles, 6 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and 1 interception.
Ty Long will continue his soccer career at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. As a senior captain, Ty raised the standard for the Rams by contributing to their longest playoff run in school history.
Jed Ngoy will continue his career at the University of Charleston in Charleston, WV. Jed switched from the defensive side of the ball his junior year to the offensive side his senior year and was pivotal in the O Line/ run game success the Rams had this year in their run to the Regional Finals.
Ian Price is continuing his baseball career at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Oh. The starting pitcher started 8 games his junior year and had 5 wins with a 1.647 ERA. His senior campaign thus far he has started in 8 games and has an ERA of 3.073.
Natalie Wurzelbacher is continuing her synchronized skating career at Miami University in Oxford, Oh. Natalie is the first Badin Student-Athlete to participate in synchronized skating in college.
Zach Yordy is continuing his football career at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. The captain played both ways as a running back and linebacker. On the defensive side, Zach had 35 solo tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 1and 1 forced fumble. On the offensive side Zach rushed for 822 yards on 146 attempts averaging 5.6 yard per carry. He also had 11 receptions for 106 yards and had 15 touchdowns total.
Badin Athletics are extremely proud of these young men and women and we know without a doubt they will represent Badin High School to the highest standard at the next level. Good luck and remember, once a Ram, ALWAYS A RAM!
