4 Nominated to Receive OHSAA Scholar- Athlete Scholarship
4 Student Athletes have received the OHSAA Scholar- Athlete Scholarship. The 4 student athletes had to meet a criteria of the following to be nominated for the scholarship’
- Must be a graduating senior
- Must have a GPA between 3.25- 4.0
- Must have received a minimum of 3 varsity letters in one OHSAA sanctioned sport to 4 varsity letters in a. combination of any 2 or more OHSAA sanctioned sports
The four student athletes posted a 4.0, 4.0, 3.91, and 3.81 GPA.
The scholar athletes, if selected as the winner, will receive a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 from the OHSAA. The OHSAA and its six District Athletic Boards annually award $169,000 in college scholarships to 169 high school graduates after selections are made by each of the OHSAA’s six District Athletic Boards. Each of the 169 scholarships will receive a one-time, non-renewable $1,000 award.
